Can you fool the status of the garage door opener?

Cupertino, February 11, 2020

I bought one of these for my garage, and it's super cool. It got me thinking, and it can be an easy way to add an extra layer of control to my Crestron control system. My Crestron system can monitor the sensor status (open or closed). I connected the red and black wires from the badges to my Crestron processor and tested it. I set it to watch the sensor and start a specific lighting scene when it changes its state. I told Siri to "get home" and it worked!
My problem is that the marks do not reset their capacity until the sensor is connected when changing the position from vertical to horizontal. So my question is: is there a way to bypass this sensor?
