Cannot add previously working smart plug to Homekit

Cupertino, September 18, 2023

Hello. I changed my wifi router and all my Homekit devices stop working. Fair enough, I thought, I just have a couple of automatic blinds and a smart plug. The automatic blinds were easy (Tahoma) but the smart outlet (Koogek) refuses to work. I can't add it to HomeKit by scanning the code on the device, and when I try to set up the code manually, I think the Home app requires a set up code in the form XXXX-XXX-XXXX, while the code in the device is XXX. -XX-XXX so there seems to be a mismatch that didn't exist before. What bothers me is that this device has been working -- and automatically -- with HomeKit for several years now, something must have changed recently. Any thoughts?
