Cannot configure / install / add HomeKit TP-Link / Kasa smart plug, KP125.

Cupertino, October 27, 2021

My previous post was removed by Reddit's spam filters (?) - anyway, I'm looking for help if someone else took the new TP-Link / Kasa KP125 from Target or Best Buy. Nothing I do causes this device to complete the setup / installation process. _It seems_ that the phone can't find the device to configure, even if I literally select the wifi SSID of the device, which prompts / forces me to enter the HomeKit add-on flow. Anyone else? The network is eero + HomeKit Secure Router enabled, eero Secure enabled, WPA3 disabled. I've never had problems with Kasa devices in the past, I've probably had almost 20 TP-Link smart devices so far.
