Cannot remove an accessory from HomeKit

Cupertino, March 6, 2024

Hello! I can't remove a Meross Smartplug (model MSS210) from my HomeKit. I changed the router and was able to reconnect all my HomeKit and Meross. Last one left: the aforementioned Meross smart plug. I have two of them so I know how to do it and one of them worked. I reset it and reconnected it to the new wifi so it showed up on HomeKit again. I tried it once, it worked! Then after 1 day it "died": the plug was not responding and was offline on HomeKit. So I thought about resetting it again... but I can't delete it from HomeKit!!! I am getting this error [https://imgur.com/a/GE7apPQ](https://imgur.com/a/GE7apPQ) same thing on Mac: it says "remote access unavailable - unable to connect" and if I try to delete it I don't get any warning or error message but just no will be removed [https://imgur.com/a/q7AH4X5](https://imgur.com/a/q7AH4X5) The pin is NOT showing up on the Meross app (I removed it from there during the reset) and I can't add it back to HomeKit for different reasons each time: 1) it expires 2) says it's already been added 3) says to connect to 2.4 4) says it's already in another home (yes, but no) The plug seems to connect, but I can never get it to work in HomeKit . It would be easy if I could just delete it and add it back, as I have done many times, but for some reason there is a bug in HomeKit that prevents me from deleting it! Any idea? Thanks!!
