With rumors that Apple is hosting an event on March 23 to unveil new products, a case for an unannounced 11-inch iPad was seen at the American retailer Target, the POS systems in the store showing that the product is not available for purchase until the beginning of April.

Displayed in a photo uploaded to Reddit, the Speck accessory shows on the box that it is compatible with iPad Air (2020), iPad Pro 11 ″ (2018-2020) and a “New iPad 11 ″ (2021) not yet announced.”

Reddit user, nanosplitter21, who saw the case, allegedly tried to buy it, however, at the point of purchase, the store’s system showed an error, marking that the product could not be sold until April 6.

It’s not the first time accessories for unannounced Apple products have appeared in retailers before launch. Best Buy, for example, began stocking cases for a new “7.7-inch” iPhone 7 2020 2020 “in March last year, which turned out to be for the new iPhone SE, which was released later this month.

AirTags, iPads, AirPods, iMacs – Here’s what Apple might announce in March

March could see the arrival of an updated iPad Pro, which is expected to have a new mini-LED technology that will give the device the same quality display as OLED, but with lower power consumption.

The alleged CAD versions of Apple’s two new iPad Pros were released in January, suggesting that the new hardware will not show major design changes, indicating that the mini-LED is one of the main differentiators between it and the previous model.

Rumors have also suggested that a new iPad mini could be on the books for the March launch, with a display larger than 8.4 inches, with the same Home Touch ID button and design as the current model.
