I have a LiftMaster WiFi garage door opener and a Chamberlain Home bridge. They have been set up and working in HomeKit for about 5 years. Earlier this week it became unresponsive so I removed it and tried to add it back (this has happened a few times in the past). I've been trying for a few days and I'm super frustrated. Google tells me this is a common problem. I can get the garage door opener to work in the MyQ app. The problems occur when adding the home bridge. If I follow the instructions in the My Q app, it fails at the very end when I try to transfer the garage door to the attic at home. If I try to set it up by connecting it to my WiFi network with my phone and adding it with HomeKit, it says it's added but doesn't show up in HomeKit. Things I've tried. Delete the WiFi connection from the opening and leave it disconnected for 10 minutes. Called Chamberlain tech support (at first the guy claimed no problem was reported connecting Home Bridge to HomeKit, then said Home Bridge is an Apple product, then said it's not possible to control the door with HomeKit) . Any suggestions on how to do this? Thanks.
