good: For just $ 8 each, the Wyze Bulb works with Alexa, Google and IFTTT and you don't need a hub to use it. The bulb itself is brighter than the advertised one, and the app includes useful features such as scenes, shortcuts and a vacation mode.

The river: It does not fall as low as its competitors and does not accept Siri voice controls through Apple HomeKit. Although you can schedule automatic lighting changes at certain times, the app will not allow you to schedule lighting changes at sunrise or sunset, nor will it allow you to trigger slow damages.

cost: 8 - 12 $

Bottom line: This is the best smart price we have ever tested and a perfect choice if you are using Alexa or Google Assistant to control your smart home.

good: The endow looks and sounds better than ever, and now you can pair two for stereo audio. The continuous space race between Alexa and Google Assistant means that it will receive a constant stream of new features.

The river: It does not have any fun colors, as does the Home Mini and it does not have any new hardware tricks. Apart from the new look and the stronger sound, it is exactly the same point as before.

cost: 40 - $ 65

Bottom line: This is the best Dot yet at the same irresistible price - but it will do little to slow Google's growth rate.

good: The Echo Flex is super cheap. The USB port allows flexible use. The plug-in design means you can put the Flex almost anywhere in the house.

The river: The small speaker is not designed for high quality music playback. The ecological speakers present legitimate risks of confidentiality.

Bottom line: Amazon has more to do to protect user privacy, but this new Flex has some impressive smartphones.

good: It packs a lot of features into one compact smart screen that can easily fit on your nightstand. Sunrise alarms make it easy to get out of bed. It gives you a handy way to control your gadgets with one touch.

The river: Google's Nest Hub is better at displaying pictures, taking recipes and organizing your smart home. The Show 5 screen is a bit too bright for a dark room.

cost: $ 70 - $ 90

Bottom line: It's not as good as the Google Nest Hub, but it's a solid smart screen that's as convincing as a smart alarm clock.
