Check the status of the "Do Not Disturb" mode before running the automation

Cupertino, May 25, 2021

I have an automation for the bedside lamp to change color depending on the temperature and humidity outside. It runs every 30 minutes, checks the weather and changes color. It lights up in the morning and stops at night. It will also not activate during the day if I turn it off. It all works well, but there is a problem. I don't always go to bed and wake up at the same time. I would like to check if my phone is in "Do Not Disturb" mode. My idea is: 1. To create an iCloud file that stores DND mode status information on my phone. 2. Set up personal automation on my phone to edit this file every time I turn DND on and off. 3. Home automation checks this file before running and acts accordingly. Is that really possible? If not, is there another way to do the same thing?
