Checking the reviews of the HKSV camera and I noticed that the recordings at night seem to be pretty bad. Is this the case in the real world?

Cupertino, April 1, 2021

So I'm just getting into HomeKit. Currently, I have ring cams with which I am decently satisfied, but I would like to join HKSV. I looked at a lot of reviews of all the HKSV cameras I have today and one thing I constantly notice is that everywhere the night images look just grainy compared to my ring cameras. Is it as it is? Is HomeKit over video compression? Would it be easier to try HOOBS (I have no zero coding experience)? Thanks!
