So I'm looking at picking up some Meross devices, especially smart sockets that have two horizontally oriented sockets, but I'm still skeptical about privacy issues. Meross says that scheduling and other data will be stored on AWS servers in the US, but I would prefer that no data be sent to Meross at all.
Anyone have experience tracking data sent from your home network to Meross devices? If I don't connect my device to the Meross app and instead connect it to Homekit, will it help?
