Let me describe to you what I have at present: poor fan with Lutron Cassette light control and fan connected directly to live wires, controllable only by the pull chain. I would also put a control of the Cassette fan, except that there is no space to expand the box. What I want: Hunter SimpleConnect fan where I still control the lights with the Cassette switch, but the fan is controlled by HomeKit. & # x200B; May? I don't care about Hunter dimming the lights. I'm even open to a little re-wiring of the fan if needed. I don't seem to find a clear answer on how these things are connected internally and whether the lights need power all the time to keep the fan controllable on WiFi and so on.
