I need help.
I have a smart wall switch that I want to use to control the lamps on a smart outlet. The wall switch is not connected directly to the socket, so this must be done with the automations. Also, since I sometimes control the switch directly (from my phone or by voice), I found that I have to configure 4 automations for this:
If the wall switch is on - turn on the plug
If the wall switch turns off - turn off the plug
If the connector is on - turn on
If the plug stops - stop
The problem I have is that due to slight delays, sometimes when the switch is pressed several times, the whole combination falls into a loop, starting and stopping continuously.
Is there a better way to do this? I feel that it must exist, that I am missing something. I thought I could group the switch and the connection so that it behaves like a single unit, but that doesn't seem to work either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
