Delay when the scene is triggered by the Hue Dimmer switches

Cupertino, September 7, 2020

Hi,

I migrated my Hue setting to HomeKit. I have 2 Hue dimmer switches that should start simple light scenes. These were configured with Hue before and worked well over a year.

However, after a while, I was very late after turning on the light, up to 10 seconds. The light will eventually turn on and, after switching off, on and off again, everything starts to work smoothly. This is reproducible every day when I come home from work. I use Apple TV4k as a Home hub, it is connected via LAN to the Hue Bridge.

What's interesting is that I can see in the home app that the Dimmer Switch is recognized immediately (square jumps when pressed), but the light is not on. When you start through the application or Siri, it works immediately.

I restarted my Apple TV, however, it did not solve the problem.

Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
