Detection of fake HKSV packages

Cupertino, November 25, 2021

We have a Logitech Circle Video Doorbell and HKSV. We set it to record when a certain movement is detected and we have all four options selected, including packages. We have exceeded our ISP's maximum monthly data for the first time. I hadn't examined the recordings and found that the Logitech Circle Video Doorbell was recording almost continuously. It seems that HKSV identifies our brick planter / bricks / steps and sometimes a line separating wet and dry concrete when it rains as packages. But I'm not sure what determines the identification of packages. In essence, it would disable recording to set zones to remove detection in those zones. The only solution I see is to disable encryption when packets are detected ... but would you like to know if there is a better solution?
