Did I get a lazy HomePod Siri?

Cupertino, November 4, 2020

After setting up HomeKit on the Apple TV with a dozen of Philips Hue lights, I thought it would be nice to add a HomePod in the living room. Setting it up was done with a finger snap and now I can say Hey Siri turn on the living room lights etc. Great but she (I use the woman voice) refuses to acknowledge to anything that is in the Kitchen! The lights, sensors, fridge. I get “there are no connected devices in your kitchen”

From the iPhone it all works great. When I change the room name to anything else Siri complies. So what is with this Siri? Don’t like to cook? I changed the kitchen name into graveyard. Works great with Siri but now the wife don’t want to cook in the graveyard.

Anyone else who has seen this behaviour?
