So I bought a new Apple TV for my mom for her bedroom. We have a few HKSV cameras around the house that I want her to be able to see and receive notifications on her new Apple TV. However, when I set up her Apple TV and signed in with her Apple ID, it went through the HomeKit setup process, but wanted me to add the Apple TV to a room that wasn't in my HomeKit home existence. When I selected one of these rooms, it annoyingly created a new home in the Home app on my mom's iPhone. So I deleted that house. The Apple TV shows up in our correct home now in the iPhone Home app and I can even AirPlay to it. But when I look in the HomeKit settings app on my Apple TV, it still doesn't show me the correct cameras. And when I pull down the control center, there is no Home icon and the cameras don't appear. In our HomeKit home, I'm the "owner" and she's the "administrator." On the Apple TV, HomeKit works as I would expect: it's in the correct room and I can see our rooms. I can also see the cameras and all the HKSV recordings on my mom's iPhone and iPad. But this new Apple TV for her is giving me a headache. Has anyone experienced something similar or have solutions to fix this?
