disable surveillance camera Push notifications when iPhone is close?

Cupertino, January 30, 2021

Hello world! I joined HomeKit a few weeks ago and now I have a nerve-wracking problem. I want to monitor my garage in the basement and I bought an Eufy 2k indoor camera for this purpose. Since my WiFi does not reach my garage, I was able to gain access to the network through the devolo dlan Powerline adapters. Working well. Now I want the camera to send me push notifications whenever it recognizes the movement in the garage. As long as it's not me or my wife. So basically: if a criminal tries to enter my garage - Push notification if it's an authorized person (recognized by their phone) - it doesn't do anything, but of course it doesn't stop notifying me when I'm in the garage. I also use the garage as a workshop, so I spend some time there, and my iPhone constantly informs me about my own presence :) The HomeKit and Eufy application does not allow me to configure the camera to stop sending PN when my iPhone is close. So does anyone have any idea how to solve this? I thought I'd create an iOS shortcut that is triggered by the camera motion sensor and detects the local IP address of my iPhones. If the IP falls within the WiFi network lines, my iPhone needs to be somewhere near the garage and I could turn off the camera. But they fail to work. I can't figure out how to turn off the camera in the script and turn it on when I leave the garage wifi. PS: Homekits Geofence doesn't work for me. Whether I'm in my apartment or in the garage, I'm always "at home." I want this to work day and night, whether I'm at home or not. I hope you have some good ideas. :) Stay safe
