I went out today and checked the status of my home using the home app. Essentially, everything was disconnected.
Going deeper, it looks like the home hub had disconnected. I use an AppleTV HD as my home hub.
Looking at Apple's guidelines, it says that the hub must be turned on. I think AppleTV may have gone to sleep, but this shouldn't be a question no?
