Do not upgrade Eve to version 5.3 if you want to be able to inspect the details of the Thread network, unless ...

... if you don't own Eve's hardware. I believe. I just updated Eve to version 5.3 (released about 4 days ago) on my ios 15 beta tester, and now the Thread Network view doesn't show anything informative. I guess this is because I don't have Eve hardware in my network. I don't own any Eve hardware, so I can't test exactly that. So, if you don't have any Eve hardware, you probably don't want to upgrade the Eve app to version 5.3. On my other devices, version 5.2.1 seems to work very well, showing the details of the thread network as it did 7 or 8 months ago, which shows all the routers and which router is the leader and I assume that any child is not devices router (which I don't have either). And it doesn't show the border routers, AKA Homepod Minis. Eve- thanks for a pretty decent free app, but I think I'll stick to version 5.2.1 only if I need the ability to inspect the Thread network. Make your devices cost less than double the cost of the competition and I'll show your hardware. Also, that you don't provide a warning that you disable this feature for people who don't have hardware Eve actually does NOT attract people to buy the products. Being polite and giving a warning not to upgrade, however, MAKES ME believe that you are a company that, although interested in making money, is not willing to sacrifice customer / user satisfaction to do so. It's a missed opportunity.
