Hi all
After a burglary in my garage (entering through a side door by breaking the lock), I now set up an Eve door sensor on that door. The garage is too far from home for Bluetooth connectivity, so I could finally use an old iPad (iOS 12, can't be upgraded to padOS 13, too old) and I made this iPad a HomeKit home hub in the garage . It works a delight.
Now I was wondering if I could connect some speakers to the iPad and make it sound an alarm when the door sensor was triggered.
In addition, ideally only when the door is "armed" and I think I could implement this using a fictitious switch that I could activate or deactivate in the Home application and use it as "Armed garage"
Is it possible to play a sound triggered by the door sensor only when the false switch status is "on" - *, but specifically on that iPad? * (IPad is ios12)
