Do you make smart wall switches: Hue modules, Friend of Hue power switches, or Eve wall switches?

Cupertino, December 4, 2021

I think I'm finally ready to turn on my home lights and make smart switches. All my lights are Hue lights and I prefer not to add additional ecosystems unless really necessary. The Hue ecosystem itself offers two possibilities - either wall-mounted Hue modules (requires some wiring and battery power, so they need to be replaced in a few years) or Friends of Hue power-saving switches, which are installed instead of existing ones. . switches (no wiring required, they only replace the rocker, leaving the switching part of the wall intact). Both integrate directly with the Hue hub and, by extension, with the HomeKit. The alternative is Eve switches, which also require some wiring (because they replace existing switches). The advantage is that they completely replace the existing switches and use power from the wall - so the batteries do not need to be replaced. But I use Bluetooth / Thread, so I'm not entirely sure if they'll have a good connection everywhere. And they are the most expensive of the three. For people who have any of the products - could you share your experience with it? How is the installation and stability?
