Do you run a shortcut when a device is controlled?

Cupertino, March 27, 2021

This is something we hoped will be added to HomeKit automation for a while. I hope I can do this without having to install third-party software on my devices, but I'm open to that. So far, I just haven't found a war to keep from getting a headache. 😅 I wonder if anyone has found a good way to do this, where a shortcut can be triggered on a local device as a result of, say, a switch on or off. Do you have any thoughts or ideas? In addition, I use a HomeBridge server, using an Apple TV as my home hub.
