Do you turn on the outdoor switch as a function of temperature?

Cupertino, February 1, 2021

I have both iDevices Outdoor Switch and Meross Outdoor Smart Plug for HomeKit. It works great for me. Is there any way to automate the start-up of one of these devices based on the outside temperature? Specifically, I have a small heater that I would like to turn on only when the temperature is below 32 and stop when it is above. Ideally, this data would come from a local weather station / NWS. I don't have an outside temperature sensor, but I would love to install it if necessary.
