I initially created some of these and had no problems. I have another one, which, for some unknown reason, will not complete the setup. I think it fails to add to wifi, it easily ends the HomeKit association. I've been trying for a few days to work with First Alert assistance on this one and it looks like they caught my eye.
This morning we disappeared from the Onelink and HomeKit application together. It won't even complete the setup at all.
Every time I try to fix these things, I have to reset them and start from scratch. I'm on a 2.4 GHz wifi network, 20 feet from an access point and 10 feet from a HomePod and, of course, my phone and me away from the device.
This is such a big pain. If anyone has any suggestions that would be great, otherwise I might end up throwing these things out a window.
