Does HomeKit have a two-home bug?

Cupertino, March 21, 2024

I bought a second house and the other day I added a new HomeKit setup to the new house. A few hours later, I noticed that the HomePods in my other house were not responding. There are no problems with the internet. My security cams work and my switches have another app I can use to control them and they work too. It's just the HomePods. I've had problems in the past with HomePods hanging on and just needing to be re-wired, so I asked a relative who lives around the corner from the other house to go unplug and re-plug them. No luck, I still can't. connect. Is this a coincidence or is there an error here?
