I’m in the middle of converting my Alexa stuff into Homekit. But he wanted to know a few things. One of them is, does Siri recognize the room you are in, based on the Homepod location?
For example, I have a Homepod in the bedroom and living room. If I say “Hey Siri, it’s on” in the bedroom, do the lights go out in the bedroom?
Another example is TV, let’s say I have a TV compatible with Homekit, both in the bedroom and in the living room. If I say “Hey Siri, turn on the TV” in the living room, it will recognize that I am in the living room and only turn on the TV in the living room.
Basically, what I want to do is configure Homepod in different rooms in my house and install Homekit compatible devices (e.g. switches, air conditioning, lights, etc.) and I hope that Siri will recognize that I issue the command from a certain camera and will only interact with the Homekit devices in that camera.
