Dumb Question - Hiding LED strip lighting

Cupertino, July 27, 2023

Ok, so this is probably a dumb question... I'm using LED strip to light up 3 shelves on a cabinet. I figure I will run the strip across the top shelf, down the cabinet, across the second shelf, down the cabinet and finally across the third shelf and then to the controller. I don't want the light to show in the down section between the cabinets though, only across the shelves. Should I just hide the down section in an opaque cable concealer? Or would it be better to cut the cable between the shelves and use led extenders? I was probably just going to use Meross led strips.
