I have a mix of Ecobee thermostats (one 3 Lite and one 4) as well as a bunch of Switch + I’m not sure why or when, but for a while now the two thermostats always look “No Answer” in Homekit. However, you can control the thermostats in the Ecobee application very well. Also, most of my Switch + is displayed as “No Answer” in the HomeKit, however, I can control them from the Ecobee app. Which means none of my HomeKit automations that use these switches work. All my Lutron Cassette switches work very well and have no problems. I did all the usual troubleshooting. I removed the thermostat board for 30 seconds, restarted my router (Unifi DreamMachine), disconnected all my HomePods (I have 1 HomePod and 3 mini). All of these have led to unsuccessful retrieval of these devices to respond in the Home app. I am tempted to give up Ecobee switches and use Lutron only because they are much more reliable. What alternatives are there for thermostats for HomeKit without Homeasistant as a bridge?
