TL;DR: I don't have the ecobee "i'm home/away" scenes in my HomeKit configuration, and I can't figure out how to manually add a Home/Away automation from scratch.
Longer story:
When I first bought my Ecobee 4, HomeKit did not have geofencing for more than one person. So, I deleted the Home/Away scenes that my ecobee automatically populated in my HomeKit configuration and set up geofencing with IFTTT and Life360.
Now that IFTTT has placed a hard limit on the number of automations one can have to 3, I've archived my Home/Away automations for the ecobee and intend to migrate them to HomeKit. My plan is to use the "First Person Arrives" / "Last Person Leaves" automations to trigger the Home/Away state on my Ecobee.
However, I can't seem to find the ability to select Home/Away (or any other ecobee comfort setting) in the ecobee's HomeKit properties page. I'm not quite sure how they achieve that capability in the pre-built HomeKit scenes they create when you first set up the device.
Am I screwed? Do i need to remove the device from HomeKit and set it up again? Any other tricks?
