I just installed a slightly used Ecobee thermostat that has the older room sensors. I was hoping to be able to use the motion sensor on them to be able to trigger lights when I walk into a room, but they are VERY inconsistent. I was wondering if this was just the one I got or if it is all of these older room sensors.
I also considered getting some of the newer Smart Sensors but didn't know if they would do any better. Anyone have experience with them?
