Why does Italy wear their kit at home if the game is at Wembley?
Even though the game is in London, Italy was selected to be the home team and opted for their classic band.
They are the host team of this game due to the fact that they were placed in the first half of the draw, which means that they will also use the locker room of the host team at Wembley.
This allows England to play in their traditional white kit, contrasting with the blue of Italy.
How did both teams go to Euro 2020 wearing these kits?
For the superstitious among you, Italy wore the blue-white-blue combination only once during the competition, when they defeated Wales 1-0 in the group stage.
As for England, they wore everything white for the first four games, but switched to white-blue-white for the last two knockout matches against Ukraine and Denmark.
Gareth Southgate’s side prevailed in both games after beating Ukraine 4-0, but needed extra time to beat Denmark 2-1 in a tense semi-final at Wembley Stadium.
Do I need to know anything else?
Italy also agreed to join England on its knees before the start to show its support in the fight against racism.
The match will be played in front of almost 65,000 Wembley fans, who will shout England to lift the first European Championship ever.
