I'm tempted to replace my "dumb" ceiling downlights with smart ones. Can someone help me find the best option?
Adaptive lighting is a must. Colored lamps are preferred. Homebridge compatibility is not a problem.
The maximum allowed depth is 6 cm (5 cm distance plus 1 cm panel depth) and the hole is exactly 11 cm in diameter.
After some digging, these are my findings: 1. LIFX products are not available everywhere I looked. 2. The Nanoleaf Downlight is a Matter product, which means there is no adaptive lighting. They are too small anyway. 3. Philips Hue products are too big to fit in the limited space. 4. Downlight WiZ is not available. 5. The Ikea downlight is too big and not colored. 6. Downlight Govee is not natively compatible with HomeKit. It's not on the homebridge plugin's list of supported devices either.
The only two options that seem to tick all the boxes are: 1. Downlight Gledopto 6W/9W 2. Downlight Zemismart WiFi
Did I miss any other options? Are there any downlights that don't natively support HomeKit but can be integrated via Homebridge? Thanks!
