Eufy camera, motion detection and inextinguishable light

Cupertino, January 30, 2021

I have Eufy 2C which I control via HomeKit. It is set to turn on the light (for 5 minutes) when it detects movement. The problem is that every time the light goes out the camera interprets this as movement and the light comes on again. If I turn it off manually or run a scene that will stop it 2 or 3 times, then it will usually stop. This means that every time I leave the house or go to bed, it's a big test to see if that light is actually off. How can I fix the problem?
