I have Eufy Indoor Cam Pan & Tilt that I use with HomeKit Secure Video. On Wednesday of this week, I noticed that the camera was still live streaming and could be viewed in Home, but did not record and document new instances via HomeKit Secure Video.
I noticed this problem on Wednesday afternoon, because I saw that the last registered court was on Tuesday evening.
We were running the latest version of iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, watchOS and macOS (not beta), and the firmware for the Eufy Indoor Cam Pan & Tilt camera was also updated. I searched online, but found few or no people facing the same problem. (Most of the answers I found related to issues with a Logitech competitor.)
Restarting the iPhone, Apple Watch, Apple TV 4K, MacBook Pro and iPad did not solve the problem. However, I disconnected Eufy Indoor Cam Pan & Tilt, waited 15 seconds, then connected it again. This solved the problem.
This might seem like a minor, obvious solution – and it is. However, given the lack of information on this specific issue, I wanted to document it here to help others with similar issues look for answers.
