Hey guys, I'm currently looking at door and window sensors and I found the Eve Door and Window sensor, which seems to have a very good price-performance ratio. However, I want to use the sensor to only detect if a window is fully open or not, so the tilt should not cause the sensor to react. I know there are sensors that can distinguish between opening and tilting, but they are too expensive for me, so my idea was to attach the door and the eve window (not Window Guard, I know it has tilt detection) at the bottom of the window so that it only reacts if the window is completely open. Does anyone know if it would work or if the sensor would record the small change in angle like an open window? All experience reports with the Eve door and window sensor are also appreciated.
