Eve for HomeKit has for the first time added a dark theme in July, but today's update brings some modifications to the interface and makes it totally compatible with the new dark mode at the moment. This means that the Eve application will now adjust its theme according to your system-wide setting.
In addition, the update today adds a new navigation bar at the bottom. In this navigation bar, you can easily access all your HomeKit accessories, specific part data, scheduled automation, and more.
Here is the complete log of changes for today's update:
Meet Eve 4.0, built exclusively for iOS 13:
- A stunning new look on iOS 13 with a dark theme, automatically modified according to your appearance settings.
- Easier access to your favorite views with a redesigned navigation bar
- Many refinements to blend seamlessly into iOS 13
The Eve app for iOS is remarkable because it supports all HomeKit accessories and reads the data from the Home app itself. This means that you can see both your Eve accessories and those of other brands. This essentially turns it into a powerful alternative to the first party's Home app.
Eve works with all compatible HomeKit accessories. See your house at a glance. Customize your ecosystem in every detail. Activate scenes in an instant. And easily create automations with timers and rules.
Eve for HomeKit is available on the App Store for free download.
