Eve Motion HomeKit Issues.

Cupertino, March 5, 2024

I'm having problems with my HomeKit eve motion wire. It performed reliably until the other day until two things happened 1. I installed an eve movement in the hallway 2. The control strip holding it to the wall gave way and fell 5-10 cm. I changed the batteries and it says it detects motion in the eve app, but it also seemed to get stuck on motion for hours this morning, and motion no longer triggers automations. It should turn the lights on for 10 minutes, then turn off. Has anyone had issues mixing HomeKit and Matter Eve devices? Should I just bite the bullet and upgrade to matter? Or are they a bit sensitive and I probably broke it with a small drop?
