Hi, I'm currently trying to figure out which is the best option, eve play or Wiim pro, I don't see anyone doing a direct comparison between the two. I have an Apple home set up with an Apple TV 4K, a couple of HomePod minis and a Sonos roam, looking for an AirPlay 2 receiver with built in dac to output to a denon amp and kef speakers. I'm not an audiophile at all, although I wish the speakers would still sound "good" and I'm more concerned with how the unit works with the home kit home app and AirPlay with multiple cameras. So finally to my question, will they both appear the same in the home app. The eve play website seems to say it will be a receiver, will this bring any additional functionality than just acting as a speaker like my sonos does? I hope this makes sense?
