I just built a new fence and bought a pack of 3 Eve door sensors to put on the gates so we know if one is open before letting the dog out. I was wary of the sensor at the back of the yard, where a gate leads to an alley. I'm about 70 years old and through an old house with wide walls and plaster and aluminum floors from the nearest HomePod mini and I assumed it would be out of range and I should somehow expand my network in yard. Well, I'm impressed. The Eve sensor stays connected over the wire and the response time is excellent. He couldn't be happier.
