I have two gates from Nice (outdoors is ROBO from 2008 and SPIDI from 2011) that I want to update. Unfortunately, the Nice module (IT4WiFi) does not work with them. Both can be controlled with a pilot, but the garage door can be additionally controlled by a double-walled bell switch (the first is for the garage door and the second is for the garage lights). And I'm thinking of two options. The first option is to upgrade the double switch in the garage (for automation) and add a single smart opener to the outer gate. The second option is to add two openers to both gates. The first option works in WiFi and Bluetooth (probably also Thread). The second option only works with WiFi. I found a controller from Meross, but I don't know if this product will work with the outer gate (and how about a power supply). Which option is the safest for a security and less insecure. Do you know another door opener that works outside?
