I'm looking to use an Eve door and window sensor for a wooden door on the outside of my house. However, this sensor is not rated for outdoor use. I wonder if anyone has found success in waterproofing this sensor for outdoor use (in moderate weather, for example in California). For example, we brainstormed using some of the ABS electrical junction boxes / boxes that are available on Amazon.
