I have HomeKit that runs flawlessly on my own devices connected to your own iCloud account. as soon as I invite my wife, the Home app becomes a "guest" account. on her device, the invitation is still "pending". when I tap the person's icon (my icon) in the Home app, their iCloud ID and my iCloud ID appear as "for media purchases" instead. all the others are gray, I can no longer make changes to "Home" when this happens, I have to "leave home" and reconfigure all the bridges and accessories, also to repair the Home Bridge again. I think her iCloud account has my iCloud ID for media and purchases, but I've turned on family sharing. it was there for centuries before "family sharing" became available. We couldn't find how you can change the setting back to your own iCloud account.
