For God's sake, please DO NOT buy Circle View.

Cupertino, January 31, 2021

All right, so let me start by saying that I don't normally post downloads ... I don't really review products. This product and the company that makes the product frustrated me so much that I felt the need to share them and save everyone's headaches. Quick story ... I've been using Eufy indoor cams with HomeKit for a long time, without any problems, I loved them. I moved to a new place, where I needed an outdoor room, so I received the Eufy 2C package. They worked well, but I noticed that he would miss the movement more often than he should ... simple things like me passing by to take out the trash he didn't pick up from time to time. After doing some research, I basically decided that outdoor wireless cams were not the best option because they run on a battery, it delays starting and often loses recordings. So fast forward, I heard people talking and talking about Logitech's Circle View and their new ringtone at the time and decided to return the Eufy for Circle View. Connect it, very simple, it works well for about 20-30 days and all the sudden problems. The camera is offline, the camera is online, it takes forever to connect to the stream, I don't record at all, etc. I call Logitech for assistance and I continue to receive girls who speak very poor English ... they are hard to understand, they work from home with poor quality connections, people whistling in the background ... anything. I go through the troubleshooting steps that he recommends for 2 DAYS RIGHT ... I decided it was enough, I want to talk to a "level 2" or a supervisor. They inform me that I can't connect, I have to ask for a call back and escalate my ticket, which I did. 48 hours pass, no call back from a level 2 or a supervisor. I keep calling back, getting the same lady and she's still very rude, I guess because I'm still calling ... but I'm not getting anywhere. I said I wanted my room changed or I wanted to talk to a supervisor ... I fixed my network, the HomeKit bridges, everything. This is clearly a hardware issue right now. Nothing. He refuses to help or accept guilt. I even tried to call other departments asking for general customer service or a supervisor, you can't reach anyone. He refuses to let you talk to any other superior people or call you back. Today I said that it is enough, called Apple and, unfortunately, I exceeded by 2 days the extended return period from the holidays. Fortunately, after I explained the situation, they offered me an exception and I will return it for a full refund. I can't guarantee that everyone will be so lucky because Apple has a normal 15-day return policy. I feel awful that Apple has to take a stand for this, but I really want them not to sell such an unwanted product from a brand that is clearly not what they were. Save your money and time if you are thinking of getting one. Edit - for further proof, it's not my network or the HomeKit bridges ... my Eufy indoor camera has been working well for 2 months now in my new place and has been working well for almost a year in my old place. No problem ... instant streams, record everything. The same goes for the Eufy outdoor camera, although from time to time it lacked things that led me to Logitech ... at least the connection was stable. Logitech is just crap. * end rant *
