GE "No response" air conditioning after installation after winter

Cupertino, June 4, 2020

I bought a GEK HomeKit activated air conditioner last summer and it was great. However, I just installed it after the winter months, and now in the Home app I see "No Answer" under the device and I can't control it.

I tried to remove the device from Home and add it again, but after scanning the code, the "Add accessory" screen never discovers it, and the only device I see is "Office Eero Pro" (my router). I'm fairly new to HomeKit, so I don't know if anyone else has had issues like this.

Thank you in advance!
