Gigabit Internet + Router questions

Cupertino, March 21, 2020

Hi all,

AT&T installs its Fiber gigabit service in my home in a week, currently using AirPort Time Capsule (5th generation) as a wireless router. It has served me well, I have about 30 wireless devices on it, iMac, 3 PCs (2 are almost always on, 1 rarely on), and the rest are HomeKit products (Apple TV, HomePod, switches, lights, etc.).

I want to get the most out of the new internet speed I will get in my home, I look at router options and I hope I can get some tips from the community, Eero has support for HomeKit router now, is that a viable option?

If you could share my network setup with me and your experience, I would appreciate it

My house only has 1200 sqm, but I have to take wifi at the garage, which is about 75 meters (direct line) from Capsula Timpului at the moment and it is good.

Thank you all.
