Guaranteed issue with Netatmo Doorbell

Cupertino, April 8, 2021

Hi all. I've had Netatmo Doorbell for a few months now, but I'm starting to run into problems where the camera will disconnect (the other functions worked fine). I sent it for repair, however with the feedback that it was my fault, because they found a "liquid" inside the bell. I noticed an oily liquid (such as grease) when I disconnected it, but I guessed it should be there. It is especially important with the SD card and USB port. Has anyone noticed this type of "fat"? The bell is installed in a place without direct exposure to water, so I'm a little surprised that they claim it is damaged by water. Thanks!
