You are thinking of taking a Homekit Wi-Fi smart connector, opening the housing and sticking an external wired button (himself in a small box) in parallel with the existing button. Curious if anyone who has done so might recommend a certain wifi switch for ease of cracking the casing as well as access to the internal button terminals. (yes, I realize that this will violate any warranty and b) risk electric shock if someone does something stupid.)
