I purchased a recently released Eve Energy Outlet with Matter and installed it along with a spare Eve Energy that I updated to Matter firmware a while back to see how things go with HomeKit, Thread and Matter. I also have some Eve Energy and Eve Light Switch which are HomeKit only with Thread firmware but not Matter. What I noticed is that for any of the Matter ones (Eve Energy Outlet and Eve Energy), Eve reports the Thread capabilities as endpoints and not routers, while all the non-Matter ones (Eve Energy and Eve Light Switch) report as routers . I thought the always-on/powered Thread devices should be able to act as routers, but it seems that's not the case (yet) for the Matter ones for some reason. Is anyone else seeing the same problem?
