My fiancé and I just moved into a new townhouse. I have a lot of smart light bulbs and smart outlets around the house, but I would like to invest in other security devices. My fiancée's only request is if a sound or a sound could disappear if the front door is open. I know there are a few different options when it comes to HomeKit security, but I'm curious if anyone knows if there's one that supports something like this. Obviously, I can trigger an alarm when set, but I think he'd just like an audible notification that the door was open during the day. Does anyone have any suggestions?
