Hearts to wear a special kit from home in the queen of the Southern Region, when Jambos honors charities

Cupertino, March 27, 2021

Hearts will wear a special kit accompanied by the club's charitable foundation logo as part of a day of celebration of their work to meet the Queen of the South at Tynecastle.

Big Hearts Community Trust members will be part of the inside coverage of the Gorgie Championship, while Robbie Neilson's men want to return from their shocking exit from the Scottish Cup at the hands of Brora Rangers.

The fifth "Big Hearts Day", which allows the trust to promote its work in the local area, will look significantly different this year amid the COVID-19 pandemic, but will continue to raise awareness of their fight against poverty and social isolation.

More than 8,000 people were helped by the organization between March and December last year, through a series of activities, including food bank collections and the delivery of food parcels.

Special versions of the traditional Jambos home shirt will be worn on Saturday for a visit to The Doonhamers.

Big Hearts CEO Craig Wilson said: “Our successful partnership with the club is based on strong family values and a proud record of community involvement.

"We are excited to see the first team players showing their support on the field for the first time on Saturday, in what will be our fifth annual Big Hearts Day at Tynecastle Park."
